Thank God for a Scot like Galloway to stand on a matter of principle and say what so many believe: Iraq was a monumental folly and the three liars responsible should be brought to account rather than be able to use the consequences to increase their political control. Sadly another Scot Robin Cook, the former UK foreign secretary, died yesterday. There was no more clear headed opponent to the invasion than Cook. Must be something in the Scottish gene pool that creates so many bravehearts.
