ok, the company is calling shareholders to nudge them to vote yes and to engage in a little pre-poll polling. why? a group of large/large-ish shareholders has approached the board and said "this offer sucks, you should have gotten more, we are voting 'no'". so it's not the accc who are causing jitters in the itq share price today, it is the possibility that if there are other disgruntled shareholders out there, who might also vote 'no', then the bid fails.
I should add, these are just my guesses.
I think there is a chance tah will up their offer if the "no" vote wins. that might be what others are thinking too.
