i think we will be alright today after fed opened up direct lending to freddie and fannie. I reckon this will give a massive short cover rally tonight because people have been shorting the financials like crazy, this open lending to the 2 mortgage companies reminds me of the march problem when the fed opened the lending to the investment bank. Wont surprise me if dow goes up by over 250 tonight but then the commodities market might get hit a bit due to the stronger dollar. Zinc should be alright because cutting 10% would mean around 1% of world wide production. I am not too how much zinc is produced every year. Can anyone shade light on it? Should bring the zinc market closer to be in deficit.
