The GFS shows that for the winter the Antarctic has been significantly cooler than the long term avg. What is the explanation for this - which natural variation caused this? The sourthern himisphere has been significantly cooler than the 1979-2000 comparison period. If this natural variation can cool a whole hemisphere in a short timescale it must be significantly more powerful than the CO2 greenhouse effect, CO2 concentration is much higher now than it was during the comparison period. Does the blog you cite explain this observation?
