Looks like alot of ice is melting into to ocean (blue zones off Antarctica) and the Antarctica continent alot hotter than the 1979-2000 average.
Scary.
Also looks alot more unstable than historic Winter - so polar vortexes like the Northern hemisphere are coming leading to weather extremes. So we get Antartica blasts and hot weather in Austrlalia - sounds like last week in Sydney - hot Monday and Snowing in the Mountains Tuesday.
Can you link to a credible scientific review of what the image is showing?
