There was a recent story in Afloat magazine(boating publication) about the 50%+ loss of seabirds off Great Britain over last couple of decades, most notably the Shearwater or Mutton bird(looks same as in your posted pic). Unfortunately their decline will continue as turbine blades continue to turn off the coast of Britain.
Britain getting lower carbon output and more serenity as those pesky birds disappear!
