With respect I value that you believe you are doing the right thing. When unconventional gas was first discovered it was thought of as being environmentally sound but that was some time ago. I'm sure that if you do some research you'll be pleased to see that the science of energy production is moving on and that there are now much better ways for us to be energised than by the use of fossil fuels.
I'm not sure how your answer referred to the question I posed in my original post but I'm sure it was well intentioned. (I gather you didn't attend the meeting.)
