I can't work out why there may be a claim on the QLD govt for the floods.

They had processes in place that were not follwed.

So obviously many participants in the govnut utility area were incompetent but whats new???

Obviously they should get jail time and heavy financial penaties IMO but that probably will not happen due to the feel good brigade!

Obviously, below the dam if you are quick on the take you know at some time your odds are up. They played the odds and lost IMO.

I can't see how irresponsible incompetent governments can be held accountable for what they are.

That is why people buy gold and silver because the only thing stopping goverment self destruction is time.

So really, these householders were gamblers in my opinion and most of the responsibility should rest with them.

As they say in the classics, build on a hill, away from the sea and get those fire breaks in place!!
