    Looks like another typical Labor party inquiry. The report says:

    "Labor's water minister at the time, Stephen Robertson, told the inquiry that he had raised the idea of pre-emptive dam releases months before the floods, but by the time he got a formal response the deluge had already begun."

    But the report fails to say why Labor's water minister, Stephen Robertson, sat on his hands for months watching the dam fill up rather than ask for a response to his request.

    The report says: "by the time he (Stephen Robertson) got a formal response the deluge had already begun". This suggests he may have received an "informal" responses and was kept in the loop the whole time.

    ... but of course lets not mention that!
