    Brisbane Islamic State fighter ‘martyred’ in terrorist conflict

    A FORMER Brisbane man who left an ex-wife and son in Australia to join the Islamic State in Syria has been killed in the conflict, a member of his unit has confirmed.
    Several Australians have posted tributes to Afghan-born Zia AbdulHaq, 33, who also went by the name Abu Yusseph, after it was revealed yesterday he was killed while fighting for the terrorist group on October 3.

    I guess we should empathise with his widow and son.....
