hi monica, it is hard to say re your house at west end. yes, it is a small block. I'm assuming it is a cottage. The fact that you own units in kelvin grove will definately offset any concerns you should have for overpaying at West End. Kelvin Grove is a great spot and has a great future. The 20-35 yo dont want to live in the burbs. With the university, road system and access to the city makes it a great spot. You will do well out of that.
West End is a great spot as you prob know. Its hard to make an assumption not knowing what your place is like. You might have paid top $$$ but i thought i paid top $ with a house on the gold coast this time last year. It has gone from 500k to 600k in less than a year. Cant complain about that.
