Pig and Whistle in the City is a good English style pub - plenty of fish and chips - lots of "Irish pubs" too.
One November I saw a wedding cake start to melt and fall over - it hit 35 degrees, but that was a bit exceptional - though we are having out of character weather more often.
Don't forget your white hankie with the knotted corners for your head, and your sandals with ridiculous socks - that's mandatory pommie uniform!!! lol........
