Spooky, I'm afraid the debt collectors will turn up anyway. One of the conditions of Macquarie and Deutsche Bank underwriting the instalments is that Brisconn must use all efforts to collect from shareholders before applying to the underwriters.

I checked on Commsec a few weeks back - if you had only looked at the chart (and surely, most of the $0.001 punters would have looked at that at least) for the funny code (which in itself should set alarm bells ringing) it says "Brisconnection Trust $1 Pd". What trust? $1 Pd? What is the structure here?

Half the folk probably think it is an internet company.

To be quite honest, at an early stage in my investing career I could easily have made the same mistake! But as I didn't have any assets then it wouldn't have mattered too much ........
