Obviously some bought not understanding instalment payments are due. Maybe they should do more research and maybe brokers should have an obligation to inform this. Whichever, I think it will be a PR nightmare if BCS doesn't come up with a sensible solution. I agree that they may just do a shre buyback for $0.001 and those that want to make th enext payment are free to do so, otherwise the $0.001 offer could be a get out of jail free card for most.
