We're seeing more housing built here, which is sorely needed. But, on the other hand never thought I'd see housing prices back into the $300k's again. Missed out on a good one at $200k, bare bones looked good, good size yard - hard to find.
They're building a whole new estate just south of here or so the media reports. But when I saw the land size, they'll be living on top of one another and they think miners will live there - yeah right.
We're losing a lot of neighbours to Queensland. Another one yesterday told me they're heading up there in a few months.
