I am not sure how Hotcopper posters view the significant numbers of the community that are impacted by "Autism"?
Autism is a spectrum, not all people who have a diagnosis of autism require medication to improve their lives... i.e Gates, Einstein, Musk, Tesla, Dylan, Messi, Seinfeld... to name a few! I have a close friend who has three children on the spectrum, only one of his kids is in a position where they may benefit from a medication that would be life-changing. So when it comes to calculating the impact on individuals and families and as an extension potential income... I am not sure you can use the CDC data that provides an estimate that Autism impacts 2.21% of adults and 2.8% of children in your calculations.
