    Everybody got the strap eventually when I was in primary school. The female teachers would get a male teacher in to do it. Can you imagine if it happened today? They would probably go to jail - at least there aren't any male teachers in primary schools for the female teacher to call on :)

    It damn well hurt too. It was outlawed by the time I left high school.
