As Towie said, you better hope no priests are teaching. Catholic schools are more concerned with preserving their public image than they are at stopping the rape of children. I would no sooner send my kids to a Catholic (or any other religious school) than I would throw them in the swimming pool and hope they can swim.
My eldest child starts at the local public school next year and my other kids will follow. It is great school, with great teachers and a real part of the local community. It teaches kids from a wide variety of backgrounds including from the local housing commission flats. It is inclusive not exclusive or divisive like religious schools.
