Yes they were slow BUT they knew they had to win an election. If they get a decent majority without having to suck up to the Lib Dem's who appear to be anti fracking, they have 5 years to kick the UK economy into gear & cheap energy would have to be part of that, they can see that from the US example.
Fracking in Scotland is dead with SNP just about clean wiping everything.
