CTP and its j/V partners have wasted some two months of precious time since British Gas entered the JV talks and postured the possibility of contributing larger sums than Queensland Gas [now owned by BG] would have done.
If Brit Gas was serious a deal would have been completed by now. It has not been completed. They are costing money and opportunity time. Better to abandon talks with BG now, and reconsider an invitation to them in [say] a year's time. They will pay much more to enter the JV then, but they will have more information to assist London office.Conix
