I don't know how accurately to describe the current conditions between the US and China (BRICS) but the global rules-based order ISN'T working. We are entering a multi-polar world and the allies are rearranging the deck chairs or steadfastly digging their heels in. I can foresee a lot of violence (deaths) through very unnecessary wars, regime changes, and the usual quid pro quo mechanics.
Ukraine is a good case study and could be the road map with the Israel-Iran potential hot war before the Taiwanese decide their fate. This is just the military front. When we move over to the financial landscape, it mimics the physical hot war. Exchange of the guards?
