Actually my husband is very interested in history. He is very keen on reading about and watching documentaries on WW1 and WW11.
I cannot join him in his TV viewings as they are distressing.

So, he has read all that you have written with interest. I have kept the link which you posted, I did open it, there is a lot to read there.
I will have a good read when I find some time.
Obviously he was not aware of the truth either.
