The word rape means to have sex with someone without their consent. The fact that rape can occur in different ways (either by violent attack, or by stealth) doesn't mean that those who have been violated by stealth as Higgins alleges haven't also been raped. Higgins had no "responsibilities" in this regard. It might be foolish for young women to get so drunk they can't manage their affairs in the company of males they don't know well, but that doesn't absolve the perpetrator. Higgins doesn't have "accountability" in that regard to anyone other than herself, in protecting her own safety and wellbeing. She doesn't have "accountability" to the rest of us in that regard.
