I don't see how this gets a proper trial, won't the next set of jurers just be split based on right and left political leanings? I think this is also why the existing jury failed to reach a verdict - there is so much polit8cs around the case. The problem for Higgins is there does not appear to be definitive proof of rape, I know this is how a lot of rape goes unconvicted and is a big issue in the justice system. However, what is a viable alternative to bey9nd reasonable doubt in rape cases?
