That article is long on hyperbole and short on tangible solutions.
If the system is so flawed, what's the answer?
Accuse someone, and not have to testify?
Not require any forensic, physical evidence to convict?
Change the presumption of innocence and make the accused prove they are innocent?
Get rid of jurors altogether and have judge only trials thereby removing the community from the Justice system altogether?
Would that make everyone feel better? I doubt it.
The system we have has been around for a very long time, it's not perfect and it never will be. But no use complaining about it unless proper solutions are put forward to consider.
