Are you suggesting if she had gone to the police that the police would have made the investigation public?
This is not the way I understand police investigations are undertaken.

Basically no-one would have been be any wiser if proper protocol was adhered to.
Or, are you suggesting there is a political mole in the Police force that would have broadcast an accusation/complaint to the media?
