Continental Resources profits surge to nearly $1 billion in 2018
The company also reported fourth-quarter 2018 production from the STACK play in northwest Oklahoma climbed by 31 percent and that its SCOOP production, also in Oklahoma, increased by 8 percent, compared to the same quarter in 2017.
The company said its expectations are to continue to grow its production during the coming year, highlighting in particular that it expects its SCOOP-related Project SpringBoard to add 10 percent to the company’s total oil production by the third quarter of 2019, compared to the same quarter in 2018.
