Interesting that on the first business day of last month (2 July) there was also big buying going on - 6.3m (well big compared to the dreadfully low normal amount traded).
Already in the top 5 days this year of trading... lets see what the next 4 hours brings. If it gets over 6.5m, it will be the biggest day of this year (aside from the bigly 35m day)
But, at the end of the day, I can't get excited about these "volume bursts out of nowhere"... we have 1 day where volumes are good, then the very next day we may hardly see a single share traded...
