No offence intended Bob but my understanding of Dunlevy is it is a dog. I’d love to be proven wrong though. Btw a lot of people are assuming BRL won’t attempt a TO of JAL before the EA approval is granted. I disagree as BRL has already invested CAD$14.1M to acquire 22.2% of NWP. This was done prior to the EA application being lodged. I believe they will attempt a TO (AUD$40-50M) once the application is lodged in 1-2 months. If they wait for EA approval there is a chance another company may swoop in and take the prize and/or there will be a significant rerate once EA is granted. Finally, NZ’s attitude to mining, especially coal, makes it imperative that BRL establishes a new source of coal from a pro-mining jurisdiction.
