On 16/03/2012 516,705 daily gross short sales are reported by ASX (49.4% of total volume 1,046,105).

since 10/02/12 short selling has increased significant – in the period 12/12/11 to 09/02/12 there has been av. 1.1% short selling, in the period 10/02/12 to 26/03/12 av. 7.3%.
