It means more funds managers will have their eyes on it and media will give it more publicity
When companies enter asx 200 their sp usually increases. I think its every 3 months that ASX200 gets reappraised.
When companies get into ASX50 and ASX100, big retirement funds usually find it necessary to include many of them in their various investment packages that they have on offer to members.
