They should have discussed this with Advisian prior to agreeing not to publish an ANN.

Secondly Advisian would also be very well aware of the rules, and if as BRN are suggesting, their hands were tied, then one would have to call into question the governance at Advisian.

Are you really asserting that Advisian are TELLING BRN what they can and can't do in relation to compliance? That is one hell of a long bow to draw.

I would suggest that the BRN officer you spoke to, either did not know and said the first thing that came into their mind, or you may have misheard, or BRN really had decided that the info was of so little consequence that it did not justify an ANN.

There is another explanation and that is the BRM PR mob released it without BRN management knowing about it, and BRN were blind sided. However how did the PR external company know about it in the first place unless the info came from BRN very senior management?

All in all a very right royal screw up by BRN management. They really do need a battle hardened CEO, today.
