A synapse is the tiny gap across which a nerve cell, or neuron, can send an impulse to another neuron. When all your synapses are firing, you're focused and your mind feels electric.
neurotransmitter
a chemical substance which is released at the end of a nerve fibre by the arrival of a nerve impulse and, by diffusing across the synapse or junction, effects the transfer of the impulse to another nerve fibre, a muscle fibre, or some other structure.
Jeroboem - See above, its an impulse, analog or binary. You obviously did not use any of the above when you wrote your post...Please do some research...and NO it does not require another operating system
