Traditionally hardware provides grunt to software to run its algorithms and calculations and deliver a result of some sort or analysis or whatever, needs lost of power and doesnt scale well.
My understanding is that dynamic is being overhauled with BRN, and the hardware will take over from software algorithms, the only role software will have, will be to essentially feed the brainchip data and what result its looking for, at very low power usage, huge processing capability to traditional CPUs and scale-able.
Very simplistic, but I think that's the basic gist of it.
