Well that goes to show how misunderstood this milestone2 is. The FPGA board is getting inputs from something to learn "the track" or to learn to stay on the track. What are the inputs if they are not from some form of sensor mounted on a physical car going around a physical track. You are not very advanced if the board is being fed simulated signals from a virtual track created by a computer program, I can tell you. Have another look at the milestone1 video. Milestone2 would hardly be any great achievement if this was the case. In cafa's drone example that he posted, the little drones fly around the room without crashing controlled by a similar neural spiking system on board the drone. You'd want to hope brainchip is controlling a physical car or else we are talking a pretty unimpressive "honours degree" type of experiment in my opinion.
