In order to simplify the BRN forum, is it an idea to have a thread dedicated to the discussion of BRN patents?
We love that we have the IP and Akida chips themselves protected by so many patents.
Earnings by way of licensing of our IP and sales of the Akidas will be great. Bear in mind that the pricing is expected to be only ~$US$20 per chip. However, going one step further, are we at the stage, or will we be soon, when it is possible to earn even more by somehow having patents on the applications or uses of which there will be a plurality (to use a patent term)?
I dislike myself for even thinking of the notion and will be very satisfied with the just benefits to humanity from our tech. but I bet there will be plenty of patented devices using our chips.
Back in the audio cassette days, I believe Dolby licensed their noise reduction to cassette deck manufacturers
