If I was to look for a positive about the lack of information regarding what Renesas has planned for the IP it would be that as they have come completely out of left field not just to shareholders but also to Brainchip (based upon CEO's statement) and as they cover so many potential use cases the EAP's who have been kicking tyres across a range of potential use cases, in the absence of a statement by Brainchip or Renesas all of a sudden could have a competitor in their area be it Smart Home, Smart City, Smart Healthcare and Smart Transportation.
This might be the incentive they need to stop kicking the tyres, agree to Brainchip's terms and sign on the dotted line.
