Alegedly the Renesas deal was on the negs table for 12months. I hope it's true because it would mean Renesas utterly investigated the tech snd potentially BRN held out on price. it was only executed around the time NASA stepped forward which would mean Renesas saw that as a threat to them given the validation punch that nasa moving on the tech would attract in the eyes of Renesas competitors.
if Renesas negs did take 12months albeit at a time when Renesas could play the game holding out then this could also be the case with Valeo & Ford. LDN did say in the second podcast at 10min++ mark that ADAS is where BRN had been most successful.
Grounded thoughts welcome.
