The right person in the role of CEO will bring their own sense of style and contacts to the company.
They will add to the mix, but also help concentrate and define our future direction and articulate it for the market.
The right person's gravitas will drive the process and also free up the others to concentrate on their specialities.
Whist I think Peter has done well in a caretaker role we still need someone focussed on pulling everyone together and leading the company into our future. I would rather Peter concentrating on keeping us ahead of the pack whilst the board provides oversight.
The right person is who they are seeking and who whilst seemingly may seem expensive will add value far exceeding their cost.
I hope they find Her/Him soon.
