Those who post here know that I have posted over the last two years about the work done by Professor Iliadis and Dr. Konstantinos Demertzis of Democratis University of Thrace from whom Brainchip licenced their cybersecurity algorithm specifically designed to operate with an SCNN ie AKIDA technology.

In this podcast strangely enough one of the use cases for tiny ML offered by the guest was a project for marine monitoring of species.

This monitoring of species involves a number of partners brought together by the guest and his company one of which is Microsoft.

Brainchip clearly is a partner but it is not made clear as to whether Brainchip was involved in this project.

The interesting thing is and I posted about this in 2019 Dr. Konstantion Demerzis and Professor Iliadis have a published paper detailing this precise use for Tiny ML specifically for SCNN architecture to be monitored by a low powered SCNN.

Some might think this is a co-incidence and some might think there is more to this. It has been put forward that Brainchip may have a relationship through one of its commercial partners to Microsoft Azure in separate threads.
