Yes but he said that in conjunction with stating that the AKD1000 chip would be released in April and then because of the adding of additional blocks to meet customer requests and a modification to improve energy efficiency the release of the AKD1000 chip was pushed out to August/September so we have had a period of four months added into his time line.

Add in some additional delay due to the fact that after this prediction was made the then CEO suffered serious burn injuries the current lull is expected and predictable.

I have said it multiple times before but the former CEO's prediction was for some income early 2021 possibly late 2020. This income turned up in the first quarter ($1.2 million odd). The next income was end of second half 2021 from which point it was predicted by him to start growing in a consistent fashion.

So from his predicted April, 2021 for chips it was going to be about 6 to eight months before income would start to flow. This would have been October, 2021 at the earliest. Thus if you add that 6 to 8 months to August your get the income very late 2021 more likely early February, 2022.

If you look at the charts presented at the last AGM by the acting CEO they are consistent with the above that is income commencing late 2021 into 2022 then accelerating through 2022.

The potential wild card is Renesas. The shortest development time for a new home appliance is about 6 to 9 months. If Renesas is the company doing the board for fridges incorporating AKIDA technology IP it is vaguely possible that IP royalties could flow in late 2021 but if it is any other product range say in the motor vehicle industry the earliest will be 2022/23.

Now in saying all of the above if after the AKD1000 chip hits the labs of EAP's it might be that IP licences start to be signed and this could generate one of payments for the licences. The company of course cannot predict these nor can anyone else unless they are privy to the discussions at Valeo or Ford or NASA etc;
