I would rather Akida come out to commercialisation and be FIRST Edge AI IP to the market than hang back in the lab like Loihi and TrueNorth...Intel and IBM are massive already so they can afford to hang back. If Brainchip kept Akida in the lab and Loihi or TrueNorth happens to be commercialised first then it will be 10x harder for Brainchip to get a foot into the AI space...now it owns a nice chunk of the Edge AI space!
I would rather Akida come out to commercialisation and be FIRST...
