Umm, the large instos you speak of also short BRN. They aren't long term if you look at broker data over the downtrending period you have more net sells compared to net buys so check your info before the early gloat. That's a known fact. Instos increase their holding because they will trade/sell or short the shares to take advantage of the volatile market climate.
