Rudds proposal to spend 2.7 billion on a faster service.

And once they start on OUR money they will find lots of other reasons to spend more of it

Lets just type in the figure
    $2700,000,000

    What for ?

So that people can download movies and music more quickly ?

And so a mere handful of people in remote places can have access.

    What a load of nonsense

Does the average person really need super fast internet access.

What we have now is quite remarkable compared to our recent past
Sure, not everyone has access to broadband, but nor does everyone everywhere have access to electricity, gas reticulated water a tram or train near their home etc
Its time for a reality check.

The government cannot provide every service to every person

Business, if it wants/ needs faster internet can pay for it themselves.
And the same goes for individuals.
And if they are in a location where its not available and its so important, they need to relocate

But wy do we really need"fast downloads"

Compared to what is genarally available, what is so vital that it needs to be downloaded "fast"

Reminds me of another great ALP policy of a few elections ago.

"WE WILL BUILD A MULTI FUNCTION POLIS"

    ?????????????????????????????????????????

    wtf did that mean
