What we don't need (at least I don't need) is being stuck indefinitly with dial-up internet combined with an unreliable phone line. I live in a regional area but certainly not the remote outback and I do expect better as does everyone else in regional Australia. Broadband at a reasonable price and a reliable phone line is pretty basic stuff these days even in some third world countries so why not in Australia ? Dave R.
