I hold TLS. I am ashamed of this company's retail strategy - If they even have one. Sooner or later people will have enough savvy to analyse deals on offer from competitors and see that Telstra's offers, on Retail products are a joke. I hold this stock, you would think I would want to support it from a consumers point of view. No thanks - Its a rip off. All my families Internet and communications are with Optus. Having now decided to also get mobile broadband I checked out what Telstra could offer. It was close to double the price of Optus. These are the "Fundamentals" I look at when considering what to do with this stock. Customer loyalty and consumer ignorance only goes so far and this co. has been surviving on it for the last 5 years. If they dont get their act together, income from the Wholesale earnings and subsiduaries will be all they have left to get the dream increase of EBIT for 2008 to 7%.
