My son and I have our puters networked so I use his ADSL and he uses my phone and printer. We're way ahead.

A mate of his comes over every weekend and plays online and he does some heavy downloads sometimes himself but still stays under the limit. This is important because excess can be very expensive. It is also important that other users schedule bulk downloads outside of trading hours because it slows down.

When he comes home I'll find out how he has configured his system but the router is a hardware firewall and works. Does need to be reset when there have been too many hits, but hell!

He hates BigPond with a passion so I know we are'nt using that and we changed from Internode because of problems here in Qld. Trouble is I now don't have an ISP mail address. Remember to check that.
