WNI have proved to us that they do have quite a bit of influence in HK as was seen by their associates buying up BRM in exchange for there valuable and rare script. These associates, who ever they are, would have a paper loss of about $100 million. Do you really think that Wah Nam will just walk away? I realise that they have treated the ASX as a Hong Kong night market but I am fairly confident that Wah Nam are probably surprised that they got this far. I think they have played this hand well as they have picked up a lot of shares in BRM and some in FRS quite cheaply by creating uncertainty in the market. Have a look at the offer that the FRS board has accepted from Atlas, 82c per share is a joke when putting this into an historical context for a takeover. If Wah Nam offers $1.00, they will get all of FRS at a price that anyone would have thought would be very low 12 months ago. Don't be fooled, a cash offer is on the way.
