hahaha... like the losses associated with paying lawyers enormous fees who say you have a case without any basis...
Not sure what the common law says about this situation...
... maybe radical title stayed with the clients, because of their continuing unbroken connection with those shares...
... maybe ANZ owed a duty of care to protect the clients from foul smelling bottles of ginger beer...
... maybe ANZ may be struck down with a sword that was historically just used as a shield...
... maybe there is an avenue in equity of redemption, though those cobblestones are hard to navigate while wearing clogs...
...
or maybe the common law will do something really boring, like reading the contracts...
