Trying to remind anyone who will listen - equities can't rise yet. BH - is right. Any bailout assistance is just to prop up financial's capital on their balance sheet. Banks laugh at the absolute nonsense that they could use this stimulus to start loaning...if they lend heavily again, this wont stimulate, it will just kill the banks off quick smart. No, they are caught...the world is caught. You mark to market and declare yourselves insolvent or the government own your capital and will have to nationalise (at least temporarily).
